When the going gets tough, the tough get going, and there was some real character in tough conditions yesterday.

Despite the sun and flat water in the bay, a strong south-westerly built during the race and gusted off the cliff tops. Bodelias was a particularly tricky mark with a number of capsizes.

Jon Spencer (helm) and Simon Peck (crew) won the race with a storming performance in the Hobie 16.
