The club enjoyed a very nautical themed and lively Church Service this morning as vicar Richard Wood laid on a fun and inclusive service
The congregation became a Battleship grid, while Harry & Fin had to call grid references to see if they made a “hit” or a splash. In the event of a splash, they were squirted with a water pistol!
Many thanks to vicar Richard Wood for all the work that went into a very memorable and, at times poignant service as club members who had passed away this year were remembered, along with prayers for Iain Dymock and Brian Higson who are both battling serious illness.
Thanks also to everyone for the generous collection – half of which goes to the village while the remaining half is donated to the RNLI.
